Mothers of Boys Online
Mothers Of Boys - a local Denver moms group - needed a massive overhaul of their existing Joomla! site. In addition to fixing problems with their Joomla! site, they also wanted to incorporate a working events manager, an online community, an email management system, and a membership subscription service. This was all done with Joomla!, DT Register, Community Builder, CB Subs, and MailChimp.

This Joomla! CMS site has been converted from a static 7-page HTML site. This site presented special challenges in that the original site had outstanding SEO rankings that needed to be maintained. Image names, meta data and keywords were brought over to new site, and other SEO techniques were implemented and added to. Client wanted to add animated rotating gears and wanted all content to stress his shop's advanced automotive diagnostincs, including an in-ground dynamometer and licensed emissions testing. CLient is managing content.

The site requires registration in order access all areas, a requirement of the site owner, and another reason why Joomla! was chosen to manage the site access and content.

Lancair International, Inc.
This massive project involved two site rebuilds - one for their informational site at www.lancair.com and their ecommerce site at http://shop.lancair.com. Lancair needed a Content Management System that would allow Lancair team members access to make site changes readily and a CMS that would offer their customers a new, more interactive online experience. Joomla! was the selected CMS.
The project involved resolving Lancair's issues with their previous non-functioning ecommerce site, in-house inventory management system implementation, building the informational site structure, and creating the ecommerce site to match the chosen Joomla! custom template for consistent branding and image between the two sites. The Lancair marketing team designed the overall look and feel of the informational site using an Artisteer template for Joomla!. I designed the flow of content, menu structure, and installed and configured the extensions used within the site. Lancair marketing team members populated the content and graphics. Client is managing content.
My involvment in the project included: researching the ecommerce solution, negotiating contracts and pricing with two other third-party vendors, project management across two site platforms, building and coding the ecommerce site in an ASP.NET environment, implementing the Lancair marketing team's site design in both the informational site and ecommerce site, and coordination with the Parts, Accounting, IT and Logistics departments at Lancair to smoothly integrate the new ecommerce site into their existing inventory management system and working closely with the development teams at SniperDyne.

Lancair International, Inc. - eCommerce site
The ecommerce site - shop.lancair.com - needed to integrate with Lancair's inventory management and accounting software, Macola. The solution was the Asimilate package from SniperDyne.
Consulting with the Parts, Accounting, IT and Logistics departments at Lancair and the development teams at SniperDyne, I was able to manage the content/inventory data and convert the Lancair marketing team's Artisteer template into the required file types for the ASP.NET platform that runs the ecommerce site. SniperDyne provided template files that I heavily modified in HTML and CSS coding. I also coordinated the data dump from the older non-functioning ecommerce site database into the new site and managed project hours between all parties involved.

EZ Cigarettes
This is an ecommerce site using VirtueMart, an open source shopping cart solution for Joomla! platforms. This was a new site and store launch. I managed design and layout, installed and managed VirtueMart integration. All aspects of this site and the accompanying DVD were produced by me. I conducted and video taped interviews, edited video with Adobe Premiere, produced DVD, CD-ROM, Flash website, and designed graphics for the CD-ROM/DVD case jackets and disks. Built in Flash 5.0 - PRIOR TO FLASH .FLV TECHNOLOGY. All video playback, pre-loaders, and video file management were hand coded in ActionScript 2.0.
